Our Pastor

Pastor Hoyt is a native New Englander, born in Stoughton, Massachusetts. He grew up in Plymouth, New Hampshire, and after graduating from Plymouth Area High School in 1977, spent the next ten years serving this great country in the U.S. Air Force. While stationed at Loring AFB, Limestone, Maine, in 1983, Pastor Hoyt received Christ as Saviour and a year later answered the call of God upon his life for the gospel ministry. In 1990, he graduated Cum Laude from Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, IN, with a BS in Pastoral Theology. Having brought his family of five here to the North country in the year 2000 to found HBC, he has also developed a vibrant prison ministry at the Northern NH Correctional Facility. There is no place he’d rather be, and nothing he’d rather do, than serve God and the people of the North Country right here in Berlin.
